1. You don't need to pick a "diet" - just pick real food.
Real food is anything that come either from a grass fed animal or grows from the ground. They are usually single ingredient foods: Meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts, whole grains, and water.
2. Simple swap: replace the junk, like chips, candy, crackers, and cookies with fresh fruit and veggies.
Berries are the lowest glucose index but are superior in vitamins, antioxidants, and flavor! Have a handful of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries anytime you get a sweet tooth!
3. It is as easy deciding not to eat anything you can't pronounce.
When you are reading the nutrition labels, avoid eating anything that looks like it has something from your organic chemistry class in it!
4. Farmers markets and farm shares; there is good quality food beyond the grocery store.
